Sinopsis Film tears of the sun   

Film tears of the sun dibintangi oleh bruce willis sebagai letnan waters.  Letnan waters dikirim ke nigeria karena terjadi kudeta militer di nigeria.  Presiden nigeria dan keluarganya dibunuh dalam insiden tersebut. 
  

Misi mereka adalah untuk menjemput warga negara amerika yang ada disana, yaitu dr lena kendricks, anak senator amerika, seorang pastor dan dua biarawati.  Saat menjemput dokter lena di rumah sakit, dr lena ingin membawa para pasien nya jg untuk mengungsi. Akhirnya tim tersebut membawa pengungsi melalui kamerun, namun tentara pemberontak menyerang mereka.
